Once Again, Morality Trumps Reality
by John Reit (June 21, 2006)

I visited San Francisco about 2 years ago. I spent about four days there at the end of which I truly knew the meaning of the phrase, “Nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there.” Literally, I could not walk 10 feet on a downtown street without being accosted by a homeless person. I couldn’t help but think, “Is this what liberals call taking care of their fellow man?” For a city where liberal socialist ideology is not only en vogue but also a matter of public policy (a city that would rather be European than American), this would certainly be the testing ground for the effectiveness of unfettered liberal social programs. Let’s just say I wasn’t impressed with this urban Utopia’s ability to care for the less fortunate.

How can things get worse? Today, Mayor Gavin Newsom unveiled the city’s very own universal health care plan.

Republicanism, Individualism, and Capitalism: the Essence of a Free Society
by Ryan Crowell (June 12, 2006)

In the often bizarre and twisted views of the modern left wing, much hypocrisy can be clearly seen. In the last few decades, society has become more and more equal in the eyes of the left wing elite. I see it as more and more cockeyed. If I hit a black man, it's called a hate crime. If a black guy hits me, he had a troubled youth, and deserves our sympathy. This is what the left refers to as equality.

Who Killed the Liberals' Common Sense?
by John Reit (May 31, 2006)

I love going to Apple's website and watch the trailers for upcoming films. The other day, I ran across one for a documentary that's opening June 30th called Who Killed the Electric Car? According to the trailer, GM came out with what would hopefully become a commercially viable electric car in 1996. But after a few years, it pretty much disappeared, never to be heard from again. No surprise, the trailer flat-out accuses the oil companies and George W. Bush (is there anything this man isn't guilty of in the minds of liberals?) of quashing the electric car in the interest of big oil profits. Bottom line: if not for oil companies and their powerful buddies like George W. Bush, we would all be driving electric cars today. If you go by the trailer, it's a pretty cut and dry case.

Of course, I wasn't content to simply go by the trailer. What I found was more evidence of the elitist, self-righteous hypocrisy possessed by environmentalist liberals.
